I’ve always had a passion for technology starting when I was 13 years old working on a Commodore 64. I loved the idea of being able to make a computer do anything I wanted it to do. It also included skills like problem solving and creativity that I enjoyed. Eventually, opportunities led me towards the hardware/operations end of technology. Starting with Help desk all the way to Infrastructure Architect working for Michael Dell’s investment firm, MSD Capital L.P. As much as I enjoyed this career path, I always thought of what it would be like to be a software engineer. After over 25 years working in Information Technology Operations, I decided I wanted a change. It was time to take on a new challenge and study software engineering. The excitement I felt after making that decision, I knew it was the right thing to do. Software engineering included everything I am passionate about, learning, creativity, problem solving and technology. It was always meant to be.
